Living with a chronic illness can be incredibly stressful and frightening, but you don’t have to give up or feel helpless. If your life constantly feels like it’s in upheaval, trying to manage chronic pain, excessive fatigue and other symptoms, as well as the doctors appointments, associated with a chronic illness, you can benefit from chronic pain counseling.

The experienced counselors at Restoration Counseling will provide you with coping skills, that will allow you to lead a more fulfilling life. We’ll work with you to develop methods to deal with your chronic pain, and regularly work with patients suffering from such illnesses as:

  • Alzheimer’s
  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Heart disease
  • Spinal Issues
  • Osteoporosis
  • Diabetes
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Parkinson’s
When you’re dealing with a chronic illness, you may feel helpless, unsure whether the pain, fatigue or confusion will ever end. Perhaps you feel that the people in your life don’t understand what you’re going through, and you feel increasingly isolated and alone. Our goal is to help our clients be as independent as possible, to effectively manage their pain, so that they can find happiness in their daily lives. We can also work with you to talk to friends, family and colleagues about your chronic illness and the associated pain. Building a network of support around you can be one of the most beneficial means in dealing with chronic pain and leading a more fulfilling life.
